Strong entrepreneurship professional graduated from Toronto Business Development Centre (TBDC).
If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
One piece of advice I would give myself is find a co-founder and join a startup accelerator.
What problem does your business solve?
The goal of my startup is make online ads a thing of the past by providing an ad-free platform.
What is the inspiration behind your business?
Today’s social network platform treat their users as products. Users are not in control of their personal datas online. iSemester will be the opposite of all that. Users pay a monthly subscription and enjoy a true, real social connections.
What is your magic sauce?
Subscription business model. Users will not be treated as products and will be in charge of the personal information.
What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?
The plan for the next 5 yers is to become a Unicorn company with a global presence. We also plan to become the number one destination for safe, sincere social connections experience.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
Raising funds. The biggest challenge is the fact that iSemester is a one founder company. 99.99% of successful companies have at least 2 co-founders, and have joined an accelerator program at some point in time in the past. I will prove to the world that a single-founder company be successful as well – Just like Jeff Bezos did with Amazon.
How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
I am calling on all the investors to join us and make this dream a reality. Users need to be in control of their information. Plus, the future is subscription. Gone are the days of free platforms and services.
